A circa 1930’s bronze of a recumbent Llama by Romano Espinoza Cáceda (Peruvian, 1898-1957). Cast in the B. Campaiola Foundry in Lima, Peru. In 1937 he participated in the 1st Hall of the Independents of Lima in the Palace of the Exhibition of the Municipality of Lima, where he presented six sculptures, highlighting: Faun and Nymph, Llamas and Tapadas.

Rare Japanese, Hokusai, inspired elephant handled vase, by Amédée de Caranza for Jules Vieillard & Cie. On a blie geometric ground, with central Hokusai inspire and two elephant head handles. The design is illustrated in Jacqueline du Pasquier 2015 book "Vieillard & Cie, Histoire de la faïencerie fine de Bordeaux", plate 111, on page 142. A 19th century, Rhyton, fox head bronze vase with the foundry mark of Maison Ferdinand Barbedienne (1810 – 1892) for Louis-Constant Sévin (French, 1821-1888) with the foundry mark of Ferdinand Barbedienne (1810 – 1892). It is from 1862 and there is a silvered bronze version in the Orsay Museum, Paris, that same year the model was exhibited World’s Fair.

A very fine set of silver stag salts by John Samuel Hunt (English, 1785-1865). The beautifully modelled stag is recumbent in a rocky outcrop between two gilt lined giant clam shells. Hunt was the renowned silversmith and nephew of the equally reputed silversmith Paul Storr. Assayed London, 1847, with Queen Victoria’ head certifying payment of duty, and bearing makers mark “JSH”. English, 1847S

A 19th century Versailles / Medici shaped Vase Sarreguemines Majolica boar head vase. The heads surround by oak leaves and acorns, the vase similarly decorated with oak leaves and acorns and the interior of the vase is of sky blue colour typical of the production of the Sarreguemines factory at this time. It bears the Sarreguemines Majolica mark and “909” hollow under cover. In “Guide de l'amateur des faïences de Sarreguemines” by Emile Decker and Christian Thevenin, number 909 is the ‘Versailles Vase’ French, circa 1886

Both draped oak leaves and acorns, the two arms similarly decorated. One depicts a boar’s / sanglier head, the other a stag / cerf. French, circa 1880.
