A 14 carat gold reverse intaglio crystal ring of a Chow Chow retailed by J E Caldwell The gold ring is set with an English made crystals of the Chow Chows 'Chee-Moo'. It's name inscribed to the reverse. 'Chee-Moo' was the famous Chow Chow 'Hildewell Chee-Moo' breed by the famous Mrs. V. A. M. Mannooch, circa 1920. Also inscribed the Chow's owner's name 'K. Offutt. Most likely a later setting to the crystal, and possibly once from a set of double sided crystal cufflinks. English / American circa 1920 / 1940.

A 19th century Russian silver hunting inkwell decorated with boar's heads and Dachshund surrounded by oak leaf and acorns. The lid of the well a pair of stag designed to rest a pen. Assayed with St Petersburg mark's for 1878, "O.C 1878"

An Austrian ‘Vienna’ / ‘Wiener’ bronze bell push / ringer, in the form of a Dachshund dancing with a cat. Austrian, circa 1900. These beautifully made bronze bell pushes were used by the wealthy and aristocratic Viennese households to call their staff.

An Austrian ‘Vienna’ / ‘Wiener’ bronze bell push / ringer, in the form of two Dachshund puppies in a pouch. This was perhaps inspired after the Austrian animal painter Carl Reichert’s (1836-1918), baskets of puppies and kittens. Austrian circa 1900. These beautifully made bronze bell pushes were used by the wealthy and aristocratic Viennese households to call their staff.

Black forest Ivory Setter Plaque. Such carvings were from German workshop of the Graf von Erbach-Erbach in Odenwald, and the Kehrer family at Erbach, Ernst (working 1830-40) and his son Edouard (1812-63). They were made from around 1830 to 1860.

A Paragon S Fox lady's umbrella modelled with a carved and painted English Setter handle on Nilgiri cane attributable to the Czilinsky family. The dog wears a gold collar and its eyes double glass inlaid. Labelled to the frame 'Paragon S Fox & Co Limited'. The 18 carat gold feral marked 'V&S' English. August Czilinsky and his two brothers, (Emil and Ferdinand junior) and father, Ferdinand carved many dog headed canes for the prestigious West End London cane and umbrellas retailers Swaine & Adeney and Brigg and Paragon S Fox & Co Limited. English, circa 1940's.
