It is from 1862 and there is a silvered bronze version in the Orsay Museum, Paris, that same year the model was exhibited World’s Fair.

The central sconce arm in the form of a French hunting horn, with the outer sconce arms applied with oak leaf and acorn design. Marked to the reverse “MATIE?”. French, 1895. The 18th century master founder Jean Joseph de Saint-German (French, 1719-1791) cast a similar oak leaf and acorn design, circa 1750, but with boar and deer.
