Enamel miniature set as a gold pendant of a West Highland Terrier, by William Bishop Ford (1832-1922). English, circa 1865. After the painting by James Bateman (1815-1849) . A similar pendant of this enamel by William Bishop Ford (1832-1922) was previously in the Commendatore Melville A Jamieson loaned to the Victoria & Albert Museum around 1929.

Muntjac deer gold mounted enamel stick pin, by William Bishop Ford (English, 1832-1922). Signed and dated to the reverse "W B Ford 1889" . Muntjacs were introduced into England at the end of the nineteenth century by the Duke of Bedford. The Reeve's Muntjac was named after John Reeves, who was an inspector with the East India Tea Company in 1812.
