Titled, signed and dated bottom left “Sidi Paul Meyerheim 1898”. Exhibited at the prestigious ‘Academie der Künste’ 1899. The reverse bears ‘Academie der Künste’ exhibition label “Gross Berliner Kunst Ausstellung 1899” at which Professor Paul Meyerheim, a member of the Academie was a key event organiser. German, 1898.

A photogravure of a Cocker Spaniel published 1906, as part of The Sportsman's Calendar by The Berlin Photographic Company after the painting by Maud Alice Earl (English, 1864-1943 The Sportsman's Calendar featured twelve of Maud Earl's works, January - "A Check .... Beagles"; February - "... Spaniel"; March - "Nipped in the Bud - Wire-Haired Terrier"; April - "Raw Material - Welsh Springer Puppies"; May - "Visiting The Coops - Ilchester Retriever"; June - "The Long Vacation - Foxhounds"; July - "Near The Holt - Otterhounds"; August - "The Twelfth ... Setter"; September - "Brace-Work ... Pointers"; October - "A Busy Team ... Cockers"; November - "Full Cry ... Foxhounds"; December - "Tender and True ... Retriever". English, 1906. The Sportsman's Calendar edition was limited to just 100 sets, each signed by Maud Earl, and came in a case designed so that a different that a different photogravure could be displayed for on month of the year.

A Weir & Sons of Dublin London boxed set of four silver menu holders of boar heads by Adie Brothers Ltd., of Birmingham. Each assayed Birmingham 1925, marked “A & Bros. Ltd” and to the base registered design number “75547”. Complete with original box marked “Weir & Sons 96 Grafton Street 1,2, & 3 Wicklow Street Dublin”. English 1925. Adie Brothers were a Birmingham firm of silversmiths with London premises. They were regular exhibitors, and these are possible the work of their chief designer Fernand Piret.

A reverse intaglio coaching crystal pendant of a black and blue painted coach with red wheels and seven up, in gold and old cut diamond millegrain platinum setting. The pendant fitting also with millegrain platinum set diamonds. Total carats approximately 1.8. The crystal marked “DEPOSE”, meaning it was registered in France as a exclusive design. Reverse intaglio crystals are commonly and erroneously often called Essex Crystals. French, circa 1890, diamond setting Edwardian.
