1 ) 19th century Poodle with tennis racket oil by Professor Paul Friedrich Meyerheim (German, 1842-1915).
A 19th century oil on canvas of the standing black Poodle holding a tennis racket, before the net, and besides slow (red) and tennis standard balls, oil by Professor Paul Friedrich Meyerheim (German, 1842-1915). Titled, signed and dated bottom left Sidi Paul Meyerheim 1898. Exhibited at the prestigious Academie der Kunste 1899. The reverse bears Academie der Kunste exhibition label Gross Berliner Kunst Ausstellung 1899 at which Professor Paul Meyerheim, a member of the Academie was a key event organiser. German, 1898.
