Rufford Ormonde" standing upon a red patterned carpet within an oak panelled interior by Herbert St John Jones (English, 1872-1939) Signed and dated 'Herbert H Jones 1906' To the reverse inscribed: "High Life original sketch by H. H. Jones of Nantwich Rufford Ormonde (CSB 2336) bred by Mr Stretch Ormskirk 1906" Ch. Rufford Ormonde won his first C.C at The Kennel Club Show of 1892, when he also won, what is now the British Collie Club Challenge Trophy for, the first time. He won this trophy further, twice in 1894, after his name change. This makes him the only dog to have won this trophy in different names, Ormskirk Ormonde and Rufford Ormonde.
