The reverse bears Royal Institute Galleries The Pastel Society Label titling in ink the picture “Ermintude” with the artist’s name “Miss Marjorie I Porter” giving the address “Pensthorpe Hall, Fakenham, Norfolk”, and the price “Not For Sale”. This is over another label that partially shows in pencil “Lent by Miss Marjorie Porter”. Together with gallery label “Est 1887 Phoene 25883... LEVTON & SONS... Fine Art Dealers 11, ORFORD PLACE, NORWICH The PREMIER house for pictures”.
