Miniature of two Bull Terriers called "Maggie" and "Billie" by Gertrude Massey (1868-1957) signed "Gertrude Massey". English, circa 1905. Set within original gilt-metal frame with pierced ribbon crest. "Two Bull Terriers" was exhibited at the New Gallery when the artist was living at "11 Melina Place" St. John's Wood, London. And in 1900 at "The Fine Art Society's", New Bond Street, London "Exhibition of Miniatures of Dogs by Mrs. Gertrude Massey".

Coloured print, on plate sunk mounts, by Christopher Gifford Ambler and titled "HE, SHE AND THE HUSSY". The others being "Ceaser's Wife, "Ishmael" and "Who's top dog now". It is one of four of a Bull Terrier series published by Illustrated Newspapers Ltd.in 1935, and marketed through "The Tatler" then at a price of "5/-". Copies pencil signed by the artist Christopher Gifford Ambler were "10/-". The titles being "Ceaser's Wife, "Ishmael" and "Who's top dog now".
